I can't believe that I got lucky enough for my first wedding out of state was in one of my favorite places! New York City is one of those places I dreamed about going, and when I first got to go it was everything I imagined. I love how busy it is and imersing myself into all of the culture. One day in my dream life I'll move there!


This wedding took place in Hoboken, New Jersey with New York City as the perfect background. I got to work for Savannah Maurine Photo, shooting super 8mm for her. I love getting to second shoot for other photograhpers. It's so fun to work with someone else and see how they work. It also takes some of the pressure off and let's me have a little fun

China and Karim celebrated with their closest family and friends with a beautiful and intimate rooftop wedding. With the golden light of the sunset hitting New York City's skyline, they said, "I do."

Their ceremony was followed by cocktail hour, a beautiful dinner, heartwarming speeches, first dances, and the most lively dance party. When packing up at midnight I felt like I could go for at least another 4 hours. The energy was electric and you could feel the love surrounding China and Karim. I loved getting to help document such an intentional day and am crossing my fingers for another New York City wedding in my near future!
