The hills are alive with the sound of music!

That's all that plays in my head every time I'm at this location. Tell me you don't think the same. Rolling green hills for days with snow capped mountains in the back, call me Maria!


Okay okay back to this stunning session. Samantha and Andrew wanted to take their formals (known in Utah as Bridals) in the Utah mountains where they call home before heading out to Texas next month to get married! This is something super common in Utah, and I absolutely love it. I love getting to pick out a location with a couple and getting that dedicated time for photos of just them. We'll always spend time on the wedding day getting photos of the bride and goom but choosinng to do photos on a different day as well means we don't have to rush and try to cram in all the photos you want into 20 minutes.

We started their session with a first look. First looks also take the pressure off you a little bit. You don't have a million eyes watching to see how you react and it can feel more relaxed, giving you the space to really take it all in. After that, we got to run around and play in the mountains and, it couldn't have been more perfect!
